IT'S THE END: After spending much of the preceding four episodes babbling about "wearing a bit thin" and falling over, at the end of The Tenth Planet the Doctor settles down for a rest on the floor of the TARDIS and promptly turns into Patrick Troughton. A nation shrugs, and wonders when the Daleks are coming back.
