Cyberman Dalek Yeti Ice Warrior

SO WE MEET AGAIN, DOCTOR: THE CYBERMEN are the star of the show here, cropping up four times. Not even the Controller's head being knocked clean off his shoulders and then miraculously reattached in the next shot, ludicrously contrived 'invasions' of St Paul's or general stumbling over vocoder-assisted lines ("you will be the first" – "and you will be the next") are capable of diminishing their chilling presence. Never mind that THE DALEKS showed up for two of their finest outings (involving conveyer belts, time travel through mirrors, toy Daleks being unconvincingly blown to 'smithereens', and something about wanting cress); they remain the second-drawer attraction here. THE YETI and THE ICE WARRIORS debut here too and both make return appearances. And even though THE QUARKS only ever appeared in one story and were frankly rubbish, their longevity and ubiquity in tie-in comic strips and convention anecdotes is surely enough to convince the casual observer that they appeared in every single story ever made.
