| IT'S THE END: "Here we go again!" The Doctor sacrifices his life in order to kill a spider and cleanse his ego, before merging with a floating Buddha to become Tom Baker. Or something. Not the most iconic of departures, and to add insult to injury the Doctor is sprawled rather ungainly on a dirty laboratory floor throughout.
