Sontaran Cyberman Davros The Master

SO WE MEET AGAIN, DOCTOR: Uncertain "bedding in" first stories flagged up the return of familiar monsters in the RT billings; THE SONTARAN EXPERIMENT; REVENGE OF THE CYBERMEN; THE GENESIS OF THE DALEKS (introducing new inveterate villain, gargling-Hawking-meets-Hilter psychotic Dalek creator, DAVROS – hey, what if it was his upper body that had been half-Dalek instead, eh?). The TIME LORDS reveal themselves to be no more than celestial civil servants in The Deadly Assassin (also featuring a ping-pong-ball faced MASTER) and The Invasion Of Time (with more SONTARANS, this time with cockney accents). The BLACK AND WHITE GUARDIANS arrive in the umbrella-themed Key To Time season, before giving way to the MASTER again (this time regenerated into the body of a Mack Sennett style baddie) in Logopolis.
