THE LOOK: The titles major on a soft-focus TARDIS spinning through space, that's after we've had the Doctor Who logo rush at us, and show us its behind – which is a bit odd. Accompanying this is an orchestral version of the theme that's rather too Paramount studio orchestra really. With Paul McGann donning a wig of Mr Bronson scale ineffectiveness, an obligatory car-chase and an all too visibly fake fireworks display at the end, it's clear that most of the movie's $5m budget went on doing up the inside of the TARDIS. That said, $5m in the UK could have paid for two more full series of Sylvester McCoy. Well, you can't begrudge that, can you?
