For some reason, more so than television, more so even than music, films are prone to excessive pigeonholing - fans rope off genres, sub-genres and the like into neat little boxes, as a means of comparing various disparate celluloid offerings lumped together because they share a couple of superficial characteristics, weighing up their comparative worth like so much suet. We cast a jaundiced eye over the endless "Which is best? Which is worst?" fanboy debates that litter the internet, and, after a good amount of world-weary tutting and many a rolled eyeball, we came to the solemn conclusion... "That looks like fun!" so here are the fruits of that ungainly bandwagon jumping - a selection of daffily made up genres painstakingly ranked from best to worst examples. Or, to give it its Latin name... Movie! Movie!
